UNEB RELEASE 2022 UACE INDICATES INCREAS IN UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS.

The number of students that qualifies to University Education have increased compared to the previous years in the recently sat Uganda advanced Certificate of Education, UACE.
This has been revealed by the Secreatry to the Uganda National Examination Board, UNEB Daniel Odong while releasing Exams on Friday Morning.
Daniel Odong says students with two Principle pass requirement to qualify for University admissions for this year has risen to 70.3% compared to 69.8% in 2020.
According to UNEB, a total of 97,890 candidates sat for the 2022 Uganda advanced certificate of Education, UACE examination from 1,969 Center countrywide compared to the 98,392 candidates who sat UACE in 2020 from 1,952 Examination Centres.
While handing over Exams to the state minister for higher education Dr John Crystestom Muyingo, Daniel Odong revealed that girls performed better than Boys compared to last year.
Minister Dr JC Muyingo sounded dismayed for a student to have scored zero in a 2022 UACE exam which to him seemed to be wasted time for that student.
