The Deputy Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Okoth has dismissed speculations that he is retiring from office soon.
This follows speculation that Okoth Ochola has persistently threatened to quit office due to unnecessary infighting and intrigue.
The media has been dominated by reports that the veteran officer is leading the exit path from the force, in an exercise to renew Police.
Okoth Ochola says the reports are baseless, and seemingly meant to embarrass his office. BYTE- OKOTH OCHOLA
Ochola adds that he has not shared his retirement plans with any one yet, neither his resignation.
On Monday, Police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi said the reports of reshuffle in the force are baseless and unfounded. BYTE- KAWEESI
